FIFA 15 TOTW Players from Arsenal and ex-Chelsea

Arsenal fans will be delighted to see their star Mesut Ozil earning a team of the week card so soon after coming back from a lengthy injury lay-off. The German has only made three appearances since his return from a knee ligament injury, but already appears to be getting back to his brilliant self.

As a result of this performance, EA have awarded the 26-year-old an 87-rated left-winger card, which is an upgrade of one and a position change from centre-attacking midfielder.

Kevin de Bruyne once again showed Chelsea what they let go as he produced a stunning display against Bayern Munich to receive his second inform card of the season. The Belgian ex-Blues man assisted one and scored two in Wolfsburg’s surprise 4-1 thumping of the German champions. For his exploits de Bruyne has been boosted to 83-rated centre-attacking midfielder.

Other Premier League first-11 players include Swansea City defender Ashley Williams, who gets an 80-rated centre-back card for his brilliant performance in their shock 1-0 win away at Southampton. Newcastle United’s Remy Cabella is the other man to feature with an 80-rated right-midfield card. The French winger opened the scoring and dazzled Toon Army fans in their club’s 3-0 win away at Hull City on Saturday.

Another notable inclusion is Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, who stepped up in place of the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo to score two in their 4-1 win over Real Sociedad. The striker has been awarded what looks like a frighteningly good 87-rated card.

See below for the full FIFA Ultimate Team team of the week first 11 and their ratings.

  • GK – Gorka Iraizoz 80 – Athletic Bilbao
  • CB – Ashley Williams 80 – Swansea City
  • RB – Maxi Pereira 79 – Benfica

FIFA 15 Server Down Yesterday: Resolve the Connection

You might be wondering why FIFA 15 Coins PS3 and EA’s FUT web app is down on February 3, 2015. The situation isn’t entirely clear, but problems with FIFA 15 online started early on Feb 3 and continued throughout the day for many players. It’s clear EA servers are not available for thousands yesterday.

Gamers are looking to see if official FUT 15 maintenance is taking place for PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox and PC platforms. We have managed to get online with FIFA 15 in the UK, although the EA FC server is down today for many across the globe.

One Product Reviews reader said, “Fifa 15 will not let me online and I cannot see any maintenance news, or problems listed on the official EA Sports Twitter account”. Another added, “The EA server status shows no problems with FIFA 15, or the FUT app”.

Promotion with Some Players in FIFA 15

In an effort to spice up the real world Premier League transfer deadline day, EA Sports’ FIFA 15 Coins PS3 and other twitter account has teased some TOTY loan players for Ultimate Team. It’s also giving some away in a ‘retweeting’ promotion.

Here’s the initial tweet about the Team of the Year loan possibilities:

When asked when these players would be available as loan options, the twitter account just directed people to the general FIFA 15 Ultimate Team news and updates page. That rather implies that they’ll be coming as a general option for all players in a future update (perhaps the one which will add the currently ongoing deadline day deals.)

However, the same twitter account is also running 50 match loan ‘giveaways’ on the four players shown in the image above. They’re encouraging people to retweet in order to win loan versions of Kroos, Robben, Messi and Ronaldo. Given the number of retweets already, though, the chances of winning don’t seem particularly high. Ronaldo’s already has close to 12,000 and (at the time of writing) it’s been up for less than a minute.

Hopefully this giveaway promotion isn’t the only way people will be able to get hold of these players as FIFA 15 Ultimate Team loan options.

FIFA 15: We are Surprised at FUT Transfer Updates

Fans of FIFA are chomping at the bit as the January transfer window comes to a close and the January update release date edges closer.

As the window grows older more transfers are made between clubs, and a FIFA fan’s game becomes more and more out of date. This is an obvious frustration that leaves millions tearing their hair out as they frantically edit their game’s squads, trying to keep up.

This makes the day that FIFA releases the January update all the more special. It’s bigger than Christmas, really.

However, this year, EA Sports has taken the unprecedented step of releasing a number of high profile transfers early to appease the undoubted high number of disgruntled gamers all over the world.

This newest update, released on January 29, is the fourth update we’ve had already, and we’re not even in February yet! This is more like it, FIFA.

The biggest moves that have been updated so far include: Wilfried Bony, Fernando Torres, Christian Rodriguez, Jermain Defoe, Xherdan Shaqiri, Rasmus Elm and Florent Malouda.

Normally, and very frustratingly, we are forced to wait for up to a week after Big Ben strikes 12:00am on January 31 for the update to be released.

The winter window is a tad skewiff all over Europe this year as every major league’s transfer period ends at different times. This made the release date of the update very much uncertain.

Many expected it to arrive on February 7 but EA has already quashed those rumours by releasing these world stars early.

Here are the 10 biggest deals that have been released in the latest update. So you can buy FIFA Coins to get them, Their performance will not let you be disappointed!

New celebrations tutorial –

Goal Celebrations in FIFA have always been an integral component of the franchise. With a wide range of celebrations at hand, these are the best tools to humiliate your opponent.

EA Sports has kept the numbers so low on purpose, or so it seems. They want to get you spending you hard earned FIFA 15 coins on stuff that arguably should be in the game already.

Over in England, Samuel Eto’o’s infamous old man celebration was shown in the game’s adverts, goading both fans of Chelsea and Everton, and maybe those of Barcelona and Inter Milan too, into buying a copy of the game just to see it.

To their shock and horror, no doubt, the old man is nowhere to be seen in the untouched version of the game. This celebration is one of 18 preliminary unlockable pieces of choreography in the game.

The celebrations are really easy to unlock, maybe too easy that just putting them in the game to start with might have been the best option. All you need to do is play FIFA15 in any mode, whether that be exhibition, career or Ultimate Team and accumulate coins. Simple as that.

Then, as you work your way up through the levels, more and more of these special serenades will become available, you just need to spend some FIFA coinage in the EAS FC Catalogue to make them usable.

Here are the 18 unlockable celebrations in FIFA 15. Since there are quite a lot of these celebrations, it’s practically impossible to remember them all. For that matter, we’ve compiled a complete list of all these celebrations. You can test them out and then memorize your favorites.

18. Muevelo

What this is all about is anyone’s guess. Your scorer takes up a gorilla like stance and moves from side to side. You need to see it for yourselves, it’s just too weird to describe.

You only need to pass level one to be able to buy it. Once it’s in your arsenal (no pun intended) hold L1 then flick R3 right then left. For Xbox hold LB and move RS right then left.

17. Right Here Right Now

The Cristiano Ronaldo, as it’s widely known.

We’ve all seen it a million times since CR7 joined the Galaticos, he runs to the corner, jumps, spins with his arms clenched at his side.

Remarkably, you only need to pass level three to enable this unlockable. Once you’ve bought it, hold R1 and press circle, or RB and B.

16. Hand Bite

Vintage Fabio Borini.

The Liverpool man has used this celebration throughout his career and his performances for Sunderland last season convinced EA to include it in this year’s title.

To buy this celebration you only need to pass level six. To use it, hold L2 and flick R3 down then up. Use the same respective buttons for Xbox.

15. The Prancing Bird

The bird walk is one of the most loved celebrations on the FIFA series today. However, you can take it to a whole new level and perform the bird walk on steroids.

You need to pass level 11, buy it, hold R1 a hit square. Or RB and X for Xbox.

14. The Old Man

Jose Mourinho claimed that the then 32-year old Eto’o was 35. The Cameroonian decided to mock The Special One for this mistake with his celebration after a goal against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

To be eligible to unlock The Old Man, need to have passed level 12. To use it, simply hold L2 and press R3, or LT and RS on Xbox.

13. Muscle Flex

The celebration Mario Balotelli made famous during the Euro 2012 semi-final against Germany. Many different memes were made in it’s honour and now it has made it to FIFA’s games,.

You need to pass level 16, buy it, then hold R1 and flick R3 up and down to use it. For Xbox it’s the same story, hold RB and flick RS up and down.

12. Dance #1

A very similar story to that of the Muevelo, you really need to see it to understand what’s going on.

Once you’ve passed level 22 and bought it from the EAS FC Catalogue, hold R1 and flick R3 down twice. Same goes for the Xbox.

11. Stand Up Tall

It’s a sight Manchester City fans won’t be too fond of given the fact Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney used this pose after scoring THAT overhead kick back in 2011.

Once you’ve passed level 26 and bought it, hold RB down and hold RS to the left. Same buttons apply for PlayStation users.

10. Kiss The Wrist

This is a sight that will upset Liverpool fans. Luis Suarez kisses a couple of tattoos he has on his wrist every time he scores.

After level 27 has been passed and the celebration has been bought, hold L2 and double tap circle. Or if you’re on Xbox, hold LT and double tap B.

9. Flag Kick

A celebration for the passive aggressive gamer out there. Run to the corner and flatten the corner flag with a scissor kick of sorts.

After level 28 has been negotiated, hold L1 and double tap square.

8. Calm Down

One for all the scousers out there. Shhh you opponent’s fans by telling them to calm and/or sit down.

This celebration is available after level 31 has been passed. Once bought, hold LB and double tap Y. Same applies for PS users.

7. The Worm

The move former WWE superstar Scotty 2 Hotty made famous world wide in the early naughties.

You need to pass level 37 to be able to unlock this gem. Once you have, hold R1 and swizzle R3 round clockwise. Same controls apply for Xbox users.

6. One Arm Push Ups

Tire your scorer out even more by making him do one armed push ups, albeit not very convincing ones.

You need to pass level 41 for this to become available to buy from the catalogue, once you have, hold R1 and flick R2 right then left. Or RB and RS right then left.

5. The Bear

Scare your opponents into defeat with the bear, made famous, sort of, by Mr Ronaldo.

Once you’ve passed level 47, simply hold both LB down and RS up. Same combination applies for PlayStation users.

4. The Chicken Dance

A more complex version than the version West Ham United’s Kevin Nolan made famous, but entertaining all the same.

Simply hold L1 and flick R3 up and then down. Same routine goes for Xbox users.

3. The Gallop Dance

Oppa Gangnam Style!

Once you’ve passed level 54 and bought this celebration, which Lord Bendtner pulls off so very well, simply hold LB and press RS in. Or L1 and R3 for PS4 users.

2. Patty Cake

Patty cake, patty cake, bakers man… Make the superstars of the football world look like little school girls.

Once level 59 has been negotiated, simply hold L1 and flick R3 to the right twice. The same configuration goes for Xbox.

1. Riding The Cat

EA Sports has called this celebration riding the cat, but it is more reminiscent of a cat that has an itchy anus that need scratching. If you have a cat, or a dog for that matter, you’ll know what this is about.

Once you’ve passed level 77 this celebration becomes available. Once purchased, hold L1 and R3 down. For xbox, this means holding Lb and RS down.

1 provides 10 most transferred players for your FIFA 15 Ultimate Team

The transfer window in the real-world is almost over, so if any clubs need some help deciding on who they should sign in the coming days, they might want to take a look at these findings from the Ultimate Team FIFA community.

EA Sports have released a list of the most popular players in Ultimate Team, showing who has been transferred more than any other player on the game.

Each day millions of transfers take place in FIFA’s most popular game mode with the demand for some player cards sky-high and while others act as great tools for trade for Ultimate Team’s best entrepreneurs.

In this list you’ll find a mixture of both, and so we also want to evaluate these players based on their real-life performances, whether they are in reality worth signing or not! So you can buy FIFA Coins to get them, Their performance will not let you be disappointed!

Arsenal v Liverpool - Premier League

Card Stats:

71 PAC / 80 DRI

78 SHO / 70 DEF

79 PAS / 77 PHY

Kicking off the list is Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, who has been a very popular choice in the midfield of a lot of FIFA players’ Premier League squad.

This year he’s been gifted with a very balanced and well-rounded 83 rated Ultimate Team card from EA Sports, after having to deal with a harsh 77 rating for the past three FIFA games.

At just over 1,000 coins it’s clear why so many players have been buying him in the transfer market as a reliable and popular player on the game and in real life as well.

For Arsenal Ramsey has really stepped up in the past few seasons, making it easy to see why he was upgraded by a massive six overall this year. The Welshman has become a pivotal part of the Gunners’ midfield during the absences of injury-prone Jack Wilshere among others, showing his consistency and talent this season.

 Tim Howard

Card Stats:

84 DIV / 83 REF

77 HAN / 50 SPD

76 KIC / 82 POS

The next most popular player on Ultimate Team is also the most transferred goalkeeper Tim Howard.

The 35-year-old costs an average 1,000 coins on FUT making him a wise choice when making a cheap Premier League squad for players who want to save more cash for spending on attacking players.

Howard’s popularity on Ultimate Team is quite fitting considering his new association with EA Sports in the promotion of the game, and maybe this could be the reason to why so many players have opted for his services in-game.

The American had a great first half of the year for both club and country in 2014, with another consistent season for Everton and representing the USA in Brazil during the World Cup. However, 2014 didn’t end on the greatest terms after he suffered an injury putting Howard on the sidelines for six weeks, not to mention Everton’s stuttered form so far this season.

Nevertheless, he remains one of the world’s top goalkeepers, even in his later professional years, and so is recommend in both FIFA and in the real world.

Card Stats:

49 SHO / 84 DEF

56 PAS / 79 PHY

From FIFA’s most popular goalkeeper to La Liga’s most transferred player on Ultimate Team, Brazilian Miranda is next up on the list.

His Ultimate Team card does exactly what his stats say, and that’s defend. There’s no getting past the Atletico centre back with his 76 pace and 84 defending.

Once again, this player’s card is worth just 1,000 coins on the market right now and so many FIFA players have made the most of this in this year’s game.

If you’re looking for a cheap La Liga squad, or you want to have enough coins left to buy a Modric or a James Rodriguez but still want a great team, Miranda is the first place you should look.

The same could be said for Miranda in the real-world, a player who was part of Atletico Madrid’s title-winning team last year and one who was unlucky not to make Brazil’s World Cup squad (even if that may have been a good thing), but nevertheless a solid partnership with Diego Godin has led to a number of successes for his club.

Juventus FC v FC Internazionale Milano - Serie A

Card Stats:

82 PAC / 66 DRI

52 SHO / 82 DEF

60 PAS / 77 PHY

Another centre back makes the most transferred players list in Ultimate Team and this time it’s Juventus’ Martin Caceres who has proven very popular with the FIFA community this year.

With an arguably underrated 79 overall, the Uruguayan displays similar stats to Miranda before him, with 82 pace and defending Caceres is another player who would fit right into a cheap Serie A squad for most FIFA players.

At 1,000 coins, the 27-year-old is a clear choice over some of the slower and generally low rated centre backs in the league, with only teammates Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli, alongside Roma’s Castan breaking 70 pace.

It’s those teammates who have forced Caceres to settle with playing at right-back for most of the season for Juventus, the same position which his In-Form card is issued with.

With a title-winning season in Italy and a place in Uruguay’s World Cup squad the defender would be highlighted as a worthwhile signing on paper, but there’s no evidence of him standing out as an individual just yet in the real-world.

Card Stats:

86 PAC / 83 DRI

77 SHO / 31 DEF

69 PAS / 65 PHY

QPR’s Eduardo Vargas also appeared on EA Sports’ list of highest goalscorers in Ultimate Team earlier this month and he’s back showing how popular the Chilean’s card is and how effective it has been for the many players who bought him.

The cheap alternative to Alexis Sanchez in the Premier League, the speedy striker goes for 1,000 coins on the transfer market.

With surprisingly similar stats to his Chilean teammate and four-star skills to match, you can get just as much worth out of Vargas for just one percent of Sanchez’s price. That’s a great deal if you ask me!

It doesn’t work in the same way in real life unfortunately, as Vargas has found it hard to settle at Loftus Road this season, playing in the shadow of QPR’s star player Charlie Austin for most of the season.

There’s still time for the 25-year-old to make the most of his loan from Napoli, but that time is definitely running out.

Card Stats:

87 PAC / 83 DRI

77 SHO / 39 DEF

69 PAS / 72 PHY

Ligue 1’s only representative on this list and the highest goalscorers on Ultimate Team, Alexandre Lacazette is carrying the French league all by himself in both FIFA and the real world.

At less than 1,000 coins once again, the Frenchman is a perfect choice in any Ligue 1 squad with Zlatan Ibrahimovic heavily over-priced. As the FIFA community have shown, you can get just as much out of a player rated eleven points lower.

Nevertheless Lacazette’s card is a beastly one as it is. With 87 pace and 83 dribbling, as well as four-star skills, there’s no stopping him in front of goal and many of you out there have experienced this for yourself.

A winter upgrade is very necessary for the 23-year-old, with a whopping 21 goals in 22 appearances for Lyon in Ligue 1 this season. Lacazette has become a deadly striker in France, making his 68 rating in FIFA 12 hard to imagine with his recent form in mind.

Card Stats:

80 PAC / 40 DRI

45 SHO / 78 DEF

43 PAS / 74 PHY

Here we have the first example of how different a player’s real life reputation can be compared to that on Ultimate Team.

The FIFA community have never been known to listen to the real world when it comes to which players to sign on Ultimate Team and with Felipe Santana you have this in a nutshell.

In Ultimate Team, the 750 coin Brazilian has some rather questionable stats, with three in the 40s as you can see above, but his main attributes are his towering 6ft 4” frame and 80 pace, of which no other Bundesliga gold centre backs can better.

Santana is a near unbeatable defender on Ultimate Team and certainly a popular one, as the fourth most transferred player on this list.

As stated, his FIFA reputation greatly differs from his real life counterpart’s, of which Santana has never really been an internationally recognised player.

Without a Brazil cap to his name, I wouldn’t highlight him as a player worth much time in the real world.

Card Stats:

85 PAC / 80 DRI

76 SHO / 33 DEF

71 PAS / 75 PHY

Danny Welbeck has been unlucky with his FIFA 15 card on Ultimate Team, with just a 78 rated non-rare gold card for one of England’s most capped strikers of the last few years.

Regardless, that hasn’t affected his popularity on Ultimate Team this year and at just 500 coins he’s one of the cheapest cards on this list.

Welbeck’s main attributes are his 85 pace and high defensive and attacking work rates, meaning he’ll be all over the pitch in almost no time at all, and most importantly in the best scoring positions if you can find the right pass.

Arsenal’s number 23 is the most popular BPL striker, but only the fifth highest goalscorer in Ultimate Team since September behind the likes of Lukaku and Daniel Sturridge.

The 24-year-old had a strong start to his Arsenal career showing promising signs in front of the Gunners fans, but since has only managed four goals in 16 league appearances.

Nevertheless, there’s still time to completely justify his summer signing and as an established England striker it can only get better for Danny Welbeck this year.

Most leagues have the one overpowered centre back and this year the title goes to the QPR defender in the Premier League.

After David Luiz’s exit from the Premier League after FIFA 14, the FIFA community have been looking for a direct replacement and in Nedum Onuoha they’ve found one.

His 1,000 coin card boasts 83 pace and 84 strength which have been the reasons for many FIFA players’ clean sheets in Ultimate Team, and most would usually go for this player in any cheap BPL squad.

The 28-year-old has been bought more times than any other Premier League player on FIFA 15 and this isn’t that surprising when you think about how effective his card is for the price.

Onuoha has had a topsy-turvy career, let alone season in the real world, having once played for Manchester City during their takeover period, although after spending last season in the Championship with QPR you couldn’t say he’d get back into the City team today.

Adrian Ramos has been the undisputed King of Ultimate Team this year in FIFA 15, topping both this list of most transferred players and being the highest goalscorer of 2014!

I couldn’t tell you why this has been the case, but you can’t compete against the fact that he’s been the most popular player with the FIFA community.

The combination of pace and power are the 28-year-old’s main assets and they’ve undoubtedly been used to great effect by the thousands of players who have relied on them.

Once again, it’s been a whole different story in the real world for Ramos, like Santana and Onuoha before him, and maybe this once’s even worse.

The Colombian arrived at Dortmund last summer and since then they’ve endured a torrid time in the Bundesliga, with Ramos only contributing two goals in 16 games leaving his team in relegation zone to the football world’s utter shock.

In this case, Ultimate Team and reality couldn’t be further away on the footballing spectrum. But I guess that’s FIFA for you!

What a fantasic scene it is! Cristiano Ronaldo diving in the FIFA 15

He might be the best footballer in the world, but Cristiano Ronaldo has earned a reputation as a diver throughout his career.

Especially when he’s just skipped into the penalty area.

And while many still dispute Ronaldo’s penchant for a cheeky tumble, he’s even doing it on FIFA, as this Vine of a user’s recent Real Madrid game shows.

But even the most ardent Ronaldo fan would have to admit, their hero does have a tendency to fall over once he enters an opponent’s penalty box. Put it this way: you don’t exactly have to do a one of his own kick-slap combos to make CR7 hit the deck.1

So, with that in mind, we once again have to doff our caps to the geniuses responsible for FIFA 15. As well as being so realistic that it occasionally enrages fans more than real-life football, even its glitches are now reflecting the characteristics of the world’s top players.

Just as we’ve always suspected, FIFA really is the most realistic video game out there.

What amazing news it is! The EA FIFA 15 Fourth Updated UNIFORMED PLAYERS

EA Sports have released the fourth batch of FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Winter Transfers. January upgrades are due at the end of the weekend when the English transfer window closes.

The recent releases have come as a huge surprise to gamers all cross the world, as transfers tend to come at the end of the transfer window. The first transfer update was released on January 20th and the second a day later. The third batch was released on the 23rd and it has only built our anticipation for the winter upgrades.

Real world transfers completed so far have been included in FUT 15. This means that you will find Samuel Eto, Fernando Torres and Shaqiri at Sampdoria, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan respectively. It seems EA are constantly updating the rosters to avoid overloading the servers this month end. Remember that in order to get one of these new cards, you will have to get them in packs or buy FIFA 15 Coins to get them in the market house. The existing players’ cards do not update. They just stop to be released in packs.
